Ok ! you have travelled all the way to phuket from a foreign country. You love getting a burger and fries and you think to yourself where can i buy the best burgers in phuket.
You can't bring yourself to going to Mcdonald's because you said to yourself i'm not going to eat maccas while I'm on holiday. Instead you look for a decent home made style hamburger. Now while some burgers in Phuket come with french fries some dont. It's often a case of an add on which gives you the options to pick and choose your sides.
We have listed only the ones we thought were worthy of listing in the top list and only 3 made the cut. We judged these on not only taste but size and juiciness. There are two in patong beach close to bangla rd and the other one we found was up in Kamala beach and well known to most burger lovers.
Big Boys Burger Club
This has to be one of the best and biggest burgers in Thailand that i've had. I got the Big Boy Burger at 325 baht and it was great. It comes with bacon, cheese, salad, egg and 2 big delicious and juicy 200 grams of patties perfectly cooked. A side of fries will set you back another 105 baht.
The burger itself was delicious and juicy and i struggled to get my choppers around it to begin with. It was enough to fill me up with a drink.
If you fancy going all out you could try the YOLO burger to test your appetite we guarantee you won't leave hungry. Service was fast and friendly.
There are plenty of sides available like their famous wedges or chicken wings.
Located in kamala beach only 20 mins north of Patong beach. It's a quiet family town with a sleepy village feel in off season and lots of families visiting in high season.
It has great reviews and is nestled away from the road down a small side street and amongst a few other bars. It didn't take long to find on Google maps. It has a cool little pool bar next to it if you fancy a few games of pool and a drink.
Fat Mammas Burgers
I found Fat Mamma,s burgers by wondering around looking for burger joints. Its situated down a small side street just along from bangla Rd in Phuket.
This was the 3rd burger places i had found. Now i didn't order a huge burger but i did end up getting a double cheeseburger with a side of small fries.
The burger costs 280 baht and the fries were 40 baht. I ate outside as inside was very small.
The reason i picked this place as my 2nd choice was that the burger itself was deliciously juicy and the ingredients were cooked very well.
I didn't get bacon or much lettuce but the cheese and burger patties i got were well worth it
This burger place has decent reviews and is right in the hustle and bustle of the main area
The main thing to remember is that it appears that they have changed location and the map below is where they were located when i ate there. It's a small side street 1 street down from bangla rd and it's pretty much opposite Tipsy bar.

5 Loaves Burgers
5 Loaves burgers was one of the first burger places in patong beach that i went to. This appears to be one of their new locations just at the beach end of patong beach and almost right next to bangla rd.
It's basically a street counter stall opposite the beach and it has a few chair you can sit at almost like a breakfast bar style seating.
I ordered the medium PhuHawaii burger with a side of fries which came crinkle cut as a cost of 280 baht for the burger and 40 baht for the fries
This came with a single Aussie beef burger and pineapple. Overall it was a tasty burger however the fake ham just gave it a cheap feel. A slice of bacon would have been nicer.
The burger patty was also the smallest i had over all the burgers but the taste won it spot. It was juicy but i think its because it a lot of sauce in it.
