Best Ways To Get From Phuket Airport To Patong Beach

So you have arrived at Phuket airport and you're wondering how to get to Patong beach from Phuket airport? The fastest way is going to be with a taxi or van service but if your budget minded and would like the cheapest way to Patong beach with time to spare then there is a cheaper nicer and slower way that won't break the bank on your first day in Phuket.

The cheapest way from Phuket airport to patong beach way is the Phuket smart Bus a blue and white bus that goes all the way from Phuket Airport to Rawai.

The bus runs from 6am to 9pm at night and takes the west coast southern route. Be there 15 mins before the leaving time according to the timetable.
The cost is 100 Baht per person per trip. Payment is generally in cash or if you have a thai bank account it can be via QR code.

Other payment options are available but these are the most preferred.

Arriving at Phuket Domestic Terminal

It's very simple just

Walk to exit 3 and turn left.

Keep walking straights past the café Amazon.

The bus will stop right opposite café Amazon. ( Blue White Bus )

Walk to G floor.

Turn left to exit 6.

Keep walking by following the sign to domestic terminal exit 3.

The bus will stop opposite café Amazon. ( Blue White Bus )

Travel time is approximately 1 hr 15 mins to patong beach. If there are plenty of you then its a good option to catch a minivan

Phuket Airport To Patong Beach By Minivan

An easier and quicker way from Phuket airport to Patong beach will be by minivan.
There are several minibus ticket offices by Entrance 3 in the terminal building.
It take around 1 hours and the price is 180 baht per person.

The only issue with going with a minivan company is that they won't leave until all seats are filled which could hold you up.

Phuket Airport To Patong Beach By Taxi

The taxi from the airport or the other way around is going to be the most private and the fastest way of getting to patong Beach.
Tickets can be bought from the same ticket offices near entrance 3 in the terminal building.

The price is going to be around 800 baht which is a lot higher than a bus.
One word of caution !!P

Phuket is one of the most visited places in thailand and therefore there are opportunities for taxi scammers all over so make sure you buy a ticket in the ticket office to avoid being scammed and to make buying a ride with a reputable company
